We woke up in Wentworth, glad to see it calm and clear! It was 54 in the coach which we quickly rectified with both heaters blasting. We pressed on through northern WI into the UP and arrived at Ishpeming, where we could hole up for the night but still drive the 18 miles to have dinner with Julie and Jim and their 1 year old Jack.
WE had a great evening catching up and enjoyed delicious salmon caught recently by Jim, seen below hoisting a 20 pounder at the derby on Lake Michigan. Sadly you needed a 30 pounder to be in the top money!
I had mentioned to Jim about the camera, hoping he would have a hole saw. He arranged to meet us at the Kelly Brothers Contruction shop the next day about noon. Jim is a detail guy and didn't like the idea (either) of drilling a hole to retrieve the camera cable which had dropped down about 4 foot from the hole at the top of the rear fiberglass of the coach. There is a shelf, above the engine that it had to be on, and Jim had a long enough piece of stiff wire and tried. I had a baling strap bent to catch and hold the cable. No luck. Then he went and got a fishing lure, with 3 hooks. This looked promising! Alas the hooks snagged on the insulation bats and now we had 2 targets.
He went and got the 3.5 inch hole saw, plenty big enough to reach a hand through and 5 minutes later we had the cable. Of course we had to retrieve the lure, and he had a block of plywood to cover the new hole. Good as new!
Julie had some sandwiches delivered while Christie and Lyn were gassing up the car, and we checked in to the Marquette Tourist Park. The sites were huge and plenty of trees. That evening we were invited to Jim's folks 50th wedding anniversary party, where 150 of their friends and family came and honored the couple. Julie emceed and the food was great. I have never been to a party where there was shrimp left over!

Nice fish! Glad you got the camera back in order.
