Today's north easterly drive through Minnesota was windy and rainy the whole way. We even had to use the heater...a nice change from the hot first week on the road.
The right windshield wiper seemed to be missing a foot-wide swath and I mentally added that to the list of things to fix, but then I noticed that the drops of water were on the inside of the windshield. We're not sure if the water is coming in past the seal or from one of the 5 lights at the top front of the coach. It wasn't a lot of water, maybe a half ounce for the whole day of rain, but it's on the 'to be fixed' list.
Couldn't get many pictures due to the rain, but here's a few we snapped as we went over the bridge in Duluth. They came in small images, so will try to replace with larger ones later today.
A few miles past Duluth, we entered Wisconsin and located our next layover. The grassy campground was very pretty, freshly mowed and definitely not dusty. Wifi was non-existent though so we took advantage of having our DirecTV DVR with pre-recorded movies with us and watched Hacksaw Ridge.
Looking forward to the weekend with nieces Christie and Julie in Marquette, upper peninsula of Michigan on Lake Superior. For those of you who have never seen any of the Great Lakes, Lake Superior is more ocean-like than lake. We heard that fresh-caught salmon will be grillin' at Jim & Julie's tomorrow night...yummmmm.
